‘The Walking Dead’ Mid-Season 6: Major Character Death [VIDEO]

The latest "The Walking Dead" season 6 trailer revealed bits and pieces of the major characters, but the most intense clip was character Maggie, portrayed by Lauren Cohan, screaming out in terror. Some speculations have pointed towards the death of a major character as "The Walking Dead" season 6 returns, who is connected to Maggie most especially, and it is no less than Glenn, portrayed by Steven Yeun.

A report by Moviefone pointed out, "Maggie (Lauren Cohan) has a blood-curdling scream in the trailer but we refuse to fall for another 'Glenn is dead' tease until he's actually shown dead. And even if they do show Glenn (Steven Yeun) dead, we'll probably still think he's alive under the nearest Dumpster."

While the troubles coming as "The Walking Dead" season 6 returns will most likely affect all the characters, both minor and major, all these seem to be brought by the newest villain in the series. Apart from character deaths in "The Walking Dead" season 6, Negan's arrival also marks the momentous return of the AMC series.

Negan, who is known in the comics as among the formidable villains in the series, finally arrives in "The Walking Dead" season 6 according to Inquisitr. As shown in the trailer, he will create havoc within Rick's group and may well be the cause of death for some.

"The Walking Dead" showrunner Scott M. Gimple revealed details about Negan and his arrival in season 6. While he hasn't appeared in the latest trailer yet, his minions have and already, fans are scared beyond their wits. Talking to TVLine, Gimple shared a bit of season 6 spoilers on Negan. He said, "Negan is terrifying in that he isn't a psychopath. He's charismatic and funny. And even sort of friendly."

"But he just kills, and it doesn't bother him," added "The Walking Dead" showrunner. "He's the star of his own movie and we're all Red Shirts. He's not nuts. But you can't reason with him because he's got it all worked out. He knows exactly the way the world works. And he's the one in control."
