If Glenn is dead, The Walking Dead series might change the way Negan is introduced into the series. The infamous Glenn comic book death scene could be passed on to another Character. Here are the likely candidates to meet Negan’s Lucille.
1. Daryl
Sorry guys. If there were any time to kill Daryl, it would be by Jeffrey Dean Morgan’s hands. In the comics, Rick is extremely close to Glenn and relies on him to get things done. In the show, Daryl has become Rick’s right hand. Glenn’s death was senseless as he had nothing to do with the events that lead to getting ambushed by Negan. No one is safe in The Walking Dead. Not even Daryl.
2. Carol
Carol has become extremely powerful after the loss of Sophia. Carol has adapted to this world and will do what needs to be done without question.
Carol would sacrifice herself to save someone she cared about. If Carol knows Maggie is pregnant, she’ll want to make sure Glenn is alive to help her through her pregnancy.
3. Morgan
He might be a series regular this season, but Morgan that doesn’t mean he won’t die on the season finale. Morgan’s philosophy of refusing to kill people might come back and haunt him. He could let one of Negan’s Saviors go only to meet Lucille later on. Seeing Negan kill Jedi Morgan might be a huge emotional blow to fans of the show.
