'The Walking Dead' Season 6: Proof, Glenn Is Alive

After a week of crying and rioting about the death of Glenn on The Walking Dead, it appears that we may have cried all of those tears for no reason at all. There is mounting evidence that Glenn isn’t dead and will indeed be returning to the show in some weird twist of fate.

Of course, none of this has been confirmed and won’t be taken as gospel even after we see it on the show. People are in that severe a state of denial about all of this that it has emotionally crippled us in ways we didn’t see coming. But in a move that might be seen by many as a cop out, Glenn isn’t as dead as you think he is and will be coming back for more episodes this season.

There’s this piece of evidence which seems to be a game changer for Walking Dead fans behind the theory that Glenn survived.

That’s Glenn with Jesus — a character we haven’t yet met in an episode that hasn’t yet aired. We also have something on the business side of things that further suggests that Glenn is going to survive his horrifying near-death experience in that herd of walkers.

The Hollywood Reporter noted that Steven Yeun recently extended his contract with the show — which means that unless AMC wants to give him free money, he’s going to be coming back for episodes to honor that new deal. This is the same argument that Game of Thrones fans are making for the return of Jon Snow, as Kit Harington has a contract through seven seasons of the show but had his character ‘killed off’ in the sixth season finale.

We might not find out on this latest episode of The Walking Dead what Glenn’s fate is, but it would be beyond shocking if he was officially dead.
