Something has to happen to Carl this week. Ron is too unnerved and the chaos that will ensue after the wall falls will give him ample opportunity to shoot the one kid he loathes.
We know that he won’t kill Rick Grimes, because frankly he is the only one unkillable right now. Killing Carl would certainly change Rick for the worst and that might not be something that the show producers are quite ready to move towards. Make no mistake though, Carl is in trouble.
Of course, if we put Carl on this list then it’s an almost certainty that Ron will die as well. At the hands of Rick. What would make this more interesting, however, is if Ron is killed by his own mother who witnesses whatever it is Ron does to Carl.
That would be a hard decision for any mother to make, but perhaps in Ron’s attempt on Carl, he is bitten so there would be at least a clearer reason for mom to do it.
I’m not sure what’s left of Carl’s character moving forward. He is a bad-ass teenager who really has grown into a man completely lost of his innocence. He can’t simply continue the path he is on as it’s pretty much already become mundane.
