'The Walking Dead' Spoilers: Norman Reedus, aka Daryl Dixon, is leaving (EXCLUSIVE)

Brace yourself for the latest rumor circling "The Walking Dead" universe. Fans on social media are going crazy at the suggestion that Norman Reedus, aka Daryl Dixon, is leaving AMC's hit show. The speculation has a logical base. Numerous websites have reported that Reedus sold his home in Atlanta, where "The Walking Dead" is filmed.

During a Season 5 episode of "The Talking Dead," Emily Kinney (Beth) said the first thing she did after finding out she was leaving the show was find a new place to live. So concern over Reedus is warranted.

But Reedus is in a different place than Kinney. The success of "The Walking Dead" has made him a superstar.

Given Reedus reclusive nature, it's more likely he sold his lavish home in order to relocate to a more remote part of the Atlanta area. He could also be looking to buy an even bigger property now that his career is as secure as it's ever been.

For his part, Reedus has been very coy about the rumors. When asked about their character's fate, cast members typically give a wink and smile (Well, Andrew Lincoln threatens to burn down trailers).

Besides, just how realistic is that Daryl Dixon will be killed off during Season 6? Not likely.

Dixon has become a pop culture icon of sorts thanks to "The Walking Dead's" massive ratings. He's probably one of the most untouchable characters along with Rick, Carl and Michonne. If he does die, the Internet would probably break.
