The Walking Dead: Deleted Rick Grimes Dream Scene Reveals TRAGIC Spoiler

In the season seven premiere, fans of the zombie series were left devastated when evil villain Negan (played by Jeffrey Dean Morgan) bludgeoned Glenn Rhee (Steven Yeun) to death.

He left behind his wife Maggie (Lauren Cohan), who was carrying their first child.

Glenn's death meant that he would never get to meet his unborn son but a Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) dream sequence at the end of the episode showed the pair together.

His son could be seen sitting on his knee as he gathered for a meal with his fellow Alexandrians in a walker-free home.

Now, it has been revealed that the dream scene was actually meant to be much longer and shows Glenn playing with his son.

The tragic clip, which was published exclusively by Entertainment Weekly, shows the father-of-one sitting on a picnic blanket with the youngster as his friends wander past.

Abraham (Michael Cudlitz) can be seen relaxing on a bench with Sasha (Sonequa Martin), who is pregnant, in the background.

Rosita (Christian Serratos) meanwhile, is busy lighting torches around the camp as Daryl (Norman Reedus) and Aaron (Ross Marquand) collect wood for a fire.

It comes after Norman dropped a huge clue about his exit from the series, revealing how he would like to leave the series.

"I think you’d see a sunset. I would walk up over a hill and then a little wolf puppy would come out of the woods and follow me up," he told Cnet.
