When the pair arrived at the home of the Saviors Sasha (played by Sonequa Martin-Green) locked Rosita (Christian Serratos) out insisting that it was for her own good.
Knowing that it was likely that they would die while trying to kill Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan), she told Rosita it not her time to die before rushing off into the Sanctuary.
As she disappeared from sight gunfire could be heard and both fans and Rosita were left fearing the worst.
The Alexandrian could be seen fleeing and crying as she believed the Saviors had taken out Sasha.
But a first look image of episode 15 has revealed Sasha's fate and while things don't look too bad for her now, viewers can be certain that they're about to get a lot worse now she's in Negan's hands.
She can be seen crouched in the corner of a cell which is not too dissimilar to the one that Daryl (Norman Reedus) was held in during his time at the Sanctuary.
But, while she is alive there is no one around to rescue her from Negan and it seems she could be his next victim.
Viewers have been worrying about Sasha's fate on The Walking Dead ever since it was revealed that the 31-year-old actress was announced as the leading commander in Netflix series Star Trek: Discovery.
And, the star has even hinted at her character's demise, previously teasing: "I can't say anything. I can say that the story is as impactful and powerful and dynamic as it always has been, and there’s nothing to worry about where that’s concerned.
"I’ve seen her battle a horde of walkers this year while simultaneously battling a stomach flu that would have had most people crying in the dirt."
Show runner Scott M. Gimple has also confirmed that there will be "losses" in the season finale - will Sasha be one of them?
He told TVLine: "This season's finale has darkness and light, real horrific moments, betrayal, and real moments of beauty, redemption, love and friendship.
"It's sort of the panoply of human and Walking Dead experience. There are losses. As the stakes get higher and higher… things start to get more intense and heartbreaking, and yet everyone has to sort of band together and keep going."
