After a 90-minute episode of The Walking Dead all about Lennie James’ Morgan Jones, Episode 5 brought us back to Alexandria in the aftermath of the Wolves’ attack. Glenn Rhee, Abraham Ford, Sasha, and Daryl Dixon haven’t returned, but we’ll find out more about the later three in next Sunday’s Episode 6, “Always Accountable.”
In the first sneak peek for the ep below, we see a seemingly injured Daryl hobbling through the woods with his motorcycle by his side. He has a gash on his head and is moving very slowly, as if he’s in pain.
As Daryl moves through the woods, he sees a trail of burnt skeletons, an ominous sign that Wolves might be near.
The motorcycle rider radios to Sasha and Abraham for help, but he’s met with some frustrated static on the other end.
The promo tells us Abraham and Sasha are alive and in search of Daryl, but since we don’t know the exact chronology of events one can never be too sure of what’s going on.
