Rumors began swirling on Friday when Abraham actor Michael Cudlitz filmed a scene where he finds a group of military walkers impaled to a fence. He notices that one of them is carrying an RPG on its back and tries to steal the weapon for himself.

However, the situation gets sticky when the walker retaliates. As its arms flail to attack the survivor, the fence reportedly starts to shake and bend. It's then that onlookers heard Cudlitz scream and fall back with his hands placed dangerously close to where the walker was still biting furiously. The altercation ends with a well placed headshot to the foe by an unknown character as Abraham is pulled off camera.

The question looming in the minds of "The Walking Dead" fans is what kind of injury Abraham could have sustained. Most watchers believe it may be a major cut from the mangled fence, but a walker bite is possible as well.

Whatever the case may be, following the scene's capture, there was an increased presencearound the cast member for the rest of the day. One pair of on-site eyes noticed that staff tried to steer Cudlitz into his trailer shielded behind umbrellas. They then waited for 10 minutes while he changed and shielded him again while he walked to a wardrobe area. Uncharacteristically, Michael then sped off in his car without waving to fans.

In this case, it's obvious that AMC crews were in the midst of filming a critical moment for season 6. The increased guarding around the set is clear evidence of this. Even if the character isn't necessarily bitten, a fence wound could be just as dangerous under the right circumstances. Especially considering Abraham has a questionable future in the established comic book timeline, there's a chance that his death may be on the horizon.

Cudlitz was spotted the next day on set, however, so there's no confirmation of that yet.

It's also worth noting that the aforementioned group of military-clad walkers lines up perfectly with the season 6 casting news that Design & Trend reported last week. It's likely that the zombified foes in this particular scene had something to do with that.
