It never ends for "The Walking Dead" fans. They fear for their favorite character's life whenever they watch an episode and they fear for their favorite character's life whenever filming for the new season begins.
The survival of fan favorite Daryl Dixon has always been speculated on ever since the "Walking Dead" started. It is always a big topic of conversation and one that generates intense anxiety among fans. So it is understandable that the prolonged absence of actor Norman Reedus from the "Walking Dead" set has people worrying that his character will soon meet his demise on the show.
But there is always the possibility that the actor is just taking a break from the show. His new job as recruiter for the Alexandria Free Zone would make it easier for writers to work his absence in the script.
Glenn's survival is also a big talking point in the "Walking Dead." Steven Yeun's character has already met his (very brutal) demise in the comics, leaving fans worried about his TV screen alter ego. Unfortunately, it seems that the show will soon catch up with the comics.
During a guest appearance on Comedy Central's "@Midnight," "Walking Dead" creator Robert Kirkman was asked to give an example of a "fake spoiler" for the TV show.
Kirkman's answer, that "a character named Negan is introduced" and would kill Glenn had audiences screaming. No one knows if he was joking or being serious.
There are also reports that several new characters will be introduced in season six. One new face will be that of Heath, who will be portrayed by Corey Antonio Hawkins. A resident of Alexandria, Heath will become good friends with Glenn.
A casting call notice also revealed that the show is looking to cast at least three more people, a military guy and a couple. One casting notice that was posted was about an audition for a "military type" Caucasian male who is around 6 feet tall and between the age of 35 and 55. The producers are also looking to cast a man and a woman who will portray the couple Kirk and Hilda.
Fans will soon meet these new characters, and learn the fate of the old ones, when the "Walking Dead" returns in October.
