'The Walking Dead' Season 6: Ricks actions lead to Carl getting Shot (Spoilers)

Just a few more weeks until the latest season episodes of "The Walking Dead" are aired. The first half of the sixth season will premiere next month and a lot of speculations are currently flying around regarding the fate of Rick and the gang and their new haven, Alexandria.

Some of the more credible spoiler sources have revealed that the next season will be seeing Alexandria being overrun by a horde of zombies. Rick and the rest will be fighting for their lives in order to escape the once safe Alexandria. The town however will be turned into a death trap as it is completely filled with the undead.

Rick and several characters will now resort to a tried and tested tactic of covering themselves up with walker guts and blood in order to mask their scent and blend in with the horde of zombies. The group will include Rick, Michonne, Father G, Carl, Jessie, Ron and Sam. Along their attempts to escape, a scuffle will apparently ensue following the capture of Sam by the undead.

Sam will apparently be caught by a walker who will start to eat him. Jessie tries to save Sam but does not let go of Carl, this causes Rick to panic as he worries for his son's life. He then decides to chop off Jessie's hand that results in her death as she also gets captured by the horde of zombies. Upon witnessing the dismemberment, Ron points a gun at Rick. He then shoots Rick, but not before Carl jumps in, and he gets shot in the eye. Michonne instantly reacts and kills Ron in an attempt to save Rick.

Most of the details mentioned in the spoiler do occur in "The Walking Dead" comic books, but it is uncertain if it would go down in the same fashion in the upcoming next episodes of the sixth season. For now, viewers just have to wait for the first episode of the sixth season, which will air on Oct. 11, 2015.
