'The Walking Dead' Season 6: Daryl Dies? Glenn Dies?

TV Line reports The Walking Dead season 6 cast 24 actor Xander Berkeley in an undisclosed role. Berkeley’s role reportedly has potential for a long-term run on the series and he has the characteristics of a certain bad guy.

That’s right, Berkeley might be Negan on The Walking Dead season 6. For those who are unfamiliar with the comics, Negan comes into play shortly after walkers overrun Alexandria. Rick finds out about Negan when a nearby community approaches him for help taking down the ruthless leader of The Saviors.

Negan is known for his terribly vile need for self-preservation and harsh tactics. He is also charming and knows how to manipulate people to do what he wants. Negan’s potential introduction could mean Glenn’s time on the series will come to a violent end. In the comics, Negan uses a bat to murder Glenn in cold blood. Some fans theorizes Daryl might even meet Glenn's fate from The Walking Dead comic books.

The Walking Dead hasn’t confirmed Berkeley’s casting or that Negan will be introduced in the series, but creator Robert Kirkman originally had another actor in mind to play the character.

Kirkman stated in the past he’d like to see Mad Men actor Jon Hamm take on the role of Negan. Hamm even admitted to MTV News back in March he met with Kirkman and has thought about playing The Walking Dead villain.

“I've met Robert [Kirkman] many times, he's a lovely guy. I think he's done wonders with that show and I know it's very close to him, obviously,” Hamm told MTV. "I'm always very nervous about anything about anybody's saying 'do this or do that.' That's why I'm always in a hundred things all the time, because I always say yes." He added, "I don't know, we'll see. It would be fun, that's for sure."
