If you want an idea of what to expect from Season 6 of "The Walking Dead," just take another look at Season 5. Steven Yeun recently spoke to Entertainment Weekly about the new season, revealing that the two seasons have a fair amount in common.
"I think last year was a very good indicator of where we’re headed," said Yeun. "We’re seeing everybody as who they are now. You’ve found them grizzled. You’ve found them completely broken and shattered and they’ve all witnessed and experienced terrible things. And so you get to see them there.
We wear it on our face. We wear it on our body. To see where we’ve evolved to is awesome. So [Season] 6 is that, is showing how much has been taken away from us.
"The end goal is to find some semblance of life that we lost before. I think you’re going to see some deeply emotional character story and you’re also going to see, as we always do, some crazy-ass s**t."
We hope that "crazy-ass s**t" doesn't include the death of Yeun's character Glenn. If it does, there's a good chance it'll happen at the hands of Negan, the villainous leader of a group of survivors called the Saviors, will appear on Season 6 of "The Walking Dead" — which might be bad news for Glenn (Steven Yeun).
As readers of the comics know, Negan began his reign of terror by murdering Glenn with a baseball bat affectionately named Lucille. (The killing was his way of retaliating for the deaths of several Saviors.)
Yeun also previously hinted that if he did die this season, it would be pretty crazy.
"If I go — that could happen," Yeun said cryptically, adding, "The way that we make the show — the writers and everybody really want to focus on making things poignant and purposeful and meaningful. So if it were for Glenn to go, then it’s probably going to be awesome."
