"The Walking Dead" season 6 premieres in October, and most fans are asking the same question: which major cast member will die next. This year, many rumors have revolved around Steven Yeun's Glenn Rhee. Here are five reasons why we think he might get the ax in 2015's episodes.

It Would Move Maggie Forward
Maggie's character has received a few interesting jolts over the past few seasons with the deaths of her sisters and father, but, when it comes to season 6 and beyond, she might need a new catalyst to further her development. While she's presently helping Deanna lead Alexandria's residents from the inside, season 6 promises the return of the Ricktatorship. In that sense, Maggie's role seems on track to being diminished.
This is exactly where Glenn's hypothetical death comes in. Rhee has basically been Maggie's rock since day one, so viewers have only seen brief glimpses of what her individual survival instincts are like. In fact, she's so tied down by Glenn that it's sometimes hard to tell exactly how she feels about the folks she's traveling with. Depending on how a death scene plays out, would she blame another cast member for it? Could she survive on her own like Carol? These questions are far more interesting than what's happening with Maggie right now.
