'The Walking Dead' Season 6: 'They’re Going to Kill Off All Of Us At Some Point' [SPOILERS]

The Walking Dead actor Norman Reedus is convinced comic creator Robert Kirkman is going to kill his character. Reedus recently told io9 he’s waiting for Kirkman to call him with the new of Daryl Dixon’s death. In fact, Reedus is dreading the day when he does receive the call.

“When your executive producer and creator calls you and goes, ‘Hey, can I talk to you about something?’... I think all of us are fearing that phone call. Because they’re going to kill off all of us at some point,” Reedus told io9.

Unfortunately for Reedus, Daryl isn’t a The Walking Dead comic book character, so his fate is unknown. The good news is Kirkman wants humanity to survive the zombie apocalypse in his The Walking Dead comic series, so it may be a while before Daryl dies on the show.

“I see [The Walking Dead] story from beginning to end over many, many years,” Kirkman said during a recent WTF podcast. “I think it’s a very hopeful story about humanity overcoming this insurmountable apocalyptic situation. It’s just going to take them a long time to do it.”

Granted, if Daryl dies there will be riots. The Internet has made their feelings about Daryl very clear. Even Reedus is well aware how much people love Daryl.

“I think he wears his heart on his sleeve,” Reedus told io9 . “I don’t think he’s trying to trick you or fool you. I think he has a certain amount of loyalty to him. He would never cross boundaries with that.”

AMC’s The Walking Dead season 6 premieres on October 11.
