'The Walking Dead' Season 6: Michonne doesn't trust Morgan [SPOILERS]

In a world where flesh-eating zombies are taking over, trust is going to be very difficult between people, especially when you encounter strangers that you’ve never met before. At the end of season five, Morgan (Lennie James) arrived at the Alexandria Safe-Zone after seemingly surviving on his own, however not everyone trusts him.

In particular Michonne (Danai Gurira) is set to have some trust issues relating to Morgan when the show returns for its sixth season in October. Lennie James has already set the record straight regarding the Comic Con trailer that was released and told fans not to take it so literally.

His reason for that was because after watching the trailer, many began to assume that a divide was coming with Rick (Andrew Lincoln) going up against Morgan. That’s not the case.

So why does Michonne feel like she can’t trust Morgan? After all, she’s only just met him and he’s already someone that knows Rick fairly well, so what’s the problem? The actress spoke with Access Hollywood at Entertainment Weekly’s Comic Con party on the 11th of July and explained why Michonne is going to struggle with his arrival.

“When we think about the last time these two characters met… Michonne was weirded out. Michonne was like: “Who is this guy? He’s crazier than me and this is weird.'”…”

“So she’s kind of like: “He’s back in our lives and he does this weird thing to Rick.” So she’s kind of like on this weird path with him… because she doesn’t know who he is. What she remembers is not something safe or something comfortable.”

Do you think Michonne has anything worry about in regards to Morgan? Should he not be worried considering that Rick now has a whole group who seemingly has his back at the slightest turn?
