Season six of “The Walking Dead” is just a few months away and as always, we’re expecting a number of deaths to plague the survivors throughout. The problem is, as it stands right now, there are only a few people that we would be happy to say farewell to, which means that some favourites are also going to have to go.
One of the biggest deaths on the show as of late was that of Beth (Emily Kinney) who after being kidnapped, held in a hospital and being rescued was shot. It appears that in a new interview, Norman Reedus who plays fan favourite on the show Daryl Dixon may have just teased the next big death – Glenn?
In the comic books Glenn does die but we’ll let you in on a little secret before you continue reading anymore – he doesn’t die on the show, well not yet anyway.
Yes, that’s right, Norman Reedus is just playing a practical joke on everyone but we thought we’d let you in on the secret before you completely lose your mind. As they often do, several members of the cast sat down recently and spoke with MTV about what characters that are deceased, that they would bring back to life.
For Sonequa Martin-Green who plays Sasha on the show, she said she would bring back Shane while Greg Nicotero (director/special effects) mentioned Rick’s (Andrew Lincoln) wife Lori.
As for Steven Yeun who plays Glenn, he made a case for Dale and Hershel to come back to life but the mood changed when Norman Reedus spoke up. When Reedus mentioned that he’d bring Glenn back to life, it makes for some uncomfortable viewing and Greg Nicotero is quick to clear up that Glenn isn’t dead, yet.
As previously mentioned, Glenn does die in the comic books but we’re hopeful that he doesn’t die anytime soon, especially with Maggie still being around.
