'Walking Dead' Season 6: Why Abraham & Eugene Still Alive? (SPOILERS)

Will "The Walking Dead" fans be saying goodbye to Eugene (Josh McDermitt) or Abraham (Michael Cudlitz) in Season 6? Cudlitz might have accidentally revealed one of the characters' deaths.

As International Business Times pointed out, Cudlitz quote-tweeted a recent post of McDermitt's, adding a line that suggests Abraham or Eugene might end up as walker chow this season.

The original tweet by McDermitt read, "Haven't been on much - been shooting an awesome movie called Middle Man. I can't wait for you to see it #TBird." Cudlitz's added, "Enjoy. I had a blast working with you. (I did)."

He later deleted the quote-tweet and posted again, simply adding "Enjoy!" to McDermitt's post. It's hard not to take note of the past tense in Cudlitz's original quote-tweet, which has something of an air of finality to it.

This particular rumor, while obviously unconfirmed, holds a bit more weight than some other recent "The Walking Dead" death rumors. After it appeared that Norman Reedus and Danai Gurira had been absent from set in Atlanta, some speculated that it might mean something happened to their respective characters, Daryl and Michonne.

As for Abraham and Eugene, it's hard to say which character is more likely to die in Season 6, though if the series follows the comics it'll most likely be Abraham, who was killed by one of the Saviors. Since the arrival of the Saviors has been teased as happening later on in Season 6, it's very possible that Abraham will bite it (so to speak) before the season's over.

Then again, "The Walking Dead" has been known to remix the source material — we guess we'll just have to wait to see which character (if either) dies in the show's next chapter.
